“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
― Neil Gaiman
Most people are thinking of Christmas but I am thinking about 2014. I always get over excited making lists of what I want to achieve for a New Year.
In 2014, I want to live by the quote above. I want to try things outside of my comfort zone and accept mistakes along the way.
However in order to welcome a new year and to show thanks for a fantastic 2013, one must look wonderful whilst celebrating.

Happy Shopping lovelies,
See you soon,
Yay, 2014 is already looking to be very interesting,
One thing that has me feeling really over-the-top excited is getting the chance to take part in a Photographic Course with one of my favorite photographers, Barry McCall in his Dublin studio in February,
Although I have had my own Canon Digital SLR Camera for over a year now, I am ashamed to say that I haven’t ever really learned how to use it properly. I know, shame on me! After the 8th February, I won’t have many more excuses as I will be learning from one of the best in the industry.
The one day beginners course is being held on 8th February in Barry’s studio on Bond Street in Dublin and it will give me a basic introduction to my camera settings and lighting followed by a live studio portrait session.
As a blogger, it is so vital to take good quality, interesting and clear photos and I must say that it is definitely something that attracts me to my favourite blogs. I am really hoping that this course will improve my basic photo-taking abilities as it’s an area I definitely need help with.
The studio offer Gift Vouchers for all their courses – beginners and intermediate – and as a blogger and photography enthusiast, I would say that this is the perfect gift this Christmas!
