I realised today that I never wrote a post about my StealMyStyle event last week in Galway. It was a really fun and definitely stylish night and I was so delighted to meet some other Irish bloggers such as Aisling Owens from Walking Primrose, Aidan Judge from A Judge Outlook, Nuala Gorham from Penny and Polaroids and Michaela O’ Shaughnessy from Life of a Lady Bear. It is always so exciting meeting other Irish bloggers. We always have lots to chat about! Thank you to Amber, the marketing manager for the fantastic venue – The Stock Exchange in Galway who was fantastic to work with.
On the night, I wore a simple burgundy dress from Maje (also seen at London Fashion Week here) with my beloved over-the-knee suede black boots (similar here) that I got so many years ago in Zara but refuse to give up on. I adore them. I put a little tulle underskirt under the dress to puff it out a little. I adore puffy skirts. When will I ever grow up?
I am heading to Dublin on Friday for an exciting photoshoot with Stellar Magazine so you might have seen on Instagram that I have been outfit planning this evening. Watch out on Instagram on Friday for some little shoot updates,
Hope that all of you are having a great week!
I think everyone in Ireland put up their Christmas tree today judging by my Twitter & Instagram news feeds.
Yay, I put up my own tree which I always enjoy doing SO much. This year the color theme is silver, white, red and turquoise. I tore myself away from my favourite colour of all: Gold. Now that the tree is done, it’s time to focus on my wrapping theme. I love the idea of using splattered paint, spray paint and glitter.
I have gathered some inspiration below:
I really love the idea of using wooden/cardboard letters for decorating just about any space for any occasion and covering them in any material or fabric that you wish just using craft or fabric glue. (Yes, these will undoubtedly feature at my wedding)
I bought some kraft letters myself in an art and craft shop in Cork recently and I plan on going all DIY very soon.
I will be sure to post a DIY feature when I get around to doing so!
I hope that you have all had a really wonderful weekend and I will see you during the week with a well over-due outfit post.
In the meantime, here’s some delights that set my heart racing this weekend:
Oh and there’s 20% off on ASOS until 8am tomorrow morning (GMT) by using the code 20EXTRA. I LOVE the Party Edit which you can find here,
Here’s to a great week lovelies!
I have put together a little Lust Haves Gift Guide,
I adore buying presents and finding the perfect item for each person. Being honest, I actually get more excited about the gift-wrapping process each year and love coming up with a theme for my wrapping and presentation. You don’t need to spend a crazy amount on people if you put enough thought into what they might like.
I hope that some of these goodies make your Christmas shopping a little easier,
Simply just scroll left to right with the little arrows and enjoy some prettiness:
I am hoping to get a more local Gift Guide done in the next week featuring treasures from places that I love in Cork,
Happy Shopping Lovelies,
