Fashionable Food

Cork was buzzing this weekend with the Irish Examiner Food Festival taking part in Fitzgerald’s Park. We got some totally unexpected sunshine which was so fantastic. I attended the festival yesterday and it was such a fun evening.. we lay out on giant bean bags by the lake listening to the Dublin Gospel Choir sampling delightful tasties from eateries such as Electric, Springfort Hall, Bite-Size, The Rising Tide, Soho and Clonakilty Black Pudding. There was loads more to choose from but I also had to fit in some bubbles & frozen yoghurt…nothing like sipping pink prosecco in the sunshine. Gorgeous!

The stand that I was most impressed by was that of fashion designer, Maria O’ Sullivan. Maria customised clothes with food for the event and it was so impressive. Who wouldn’t want to wear a popcorn embellished top or a jelly sweet collar? YUM! I love unique originality and Maria didn’t disappoint. She is such a creative talent so make sure you watch out for her in the future. I featured one of her designs in one of my very first posts here

Hope everyone had a super weekend?

xoxo
