I am delighted to let you all know about a very exciting competition that I am running with the best team a blogger could work with….
One lucky Life’s Lust Haves Blog friend will have the opportunity to be the star of their very own creative photo-shoot! It’s your time to shine! I love tv shows like America and Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model as I am obsessed with photo shoots! We are bringing this type of photo-shoot opportunity to you!
Your looks on the day will be styled by little ol’ me, you will have your make-up done by Top Cork Make up Artist Louise McCall and have your hair done by hair stylist, Lisa Nation from Boston Belle and finally once we have all created our magic, you will be photographed in a fab location by the talented crew at Wee Red Bike Photography….Check out our recent shoot here for an idea of what you should expect! Check out today’s Evening Echo for details on the competition also!
All you have to do is write a comment on this post stating how you would love to be styled for your own photo shoot and why you should win this prize. Don’t forget that you must also “Like” these pages on Facebook- Life’s Lust Haves, MakeupByMcCall & Boston Belle. In the meantime, check out Wee Red Bike Photography online for more stunning photography.
I cannot wait to see your entries…I am really excited about this amazing competition! You have to be able to travel to Cork for the photo shoot!

i would love this opportunity in life to build my confidence up more and even pursue a career in modeling in the future! my dream style during a photo shoot would be from the 50s and people like marilyn monroe, elizabeth taylor and grace kelly all inspire me i adore their hair and stunning, glamorous style! thank you!!
Thanks for your entry Megan xoxo I also LOVE the 1950′s xoxo
Hi i would love this photoshoot cos i would love to actually like a picture of me….without criticising it or hiding it away…..the theme i would like it to be would most definitely burlesque/moulin rouge…..the reason being i`ve a fond memory of being in paris with my mother before she passed away and she had a laugh at the moulin rouge
Thanks Martina, such a lovely entry xoxo
Hi, in the last 3 years I’ve gone from a size 30/32 to a size 10/12. It hasn’t been easy to say the least but I have to say I hate my face now. When I was bigger it was the one thing I saw in the mirror and always loved, didn’t look at pictures but always throughout life loved my face. Now I just see excess skin, tiredness, wrinkles (no fat left to plump my face up). People I know pass me and don’t recognise me, most of the time I take it as a compliment but there are days that I’d love to say ‘hey it’s me???!!!’, why don’t you recognise me? It’s hard. I’d love a photo shoot that could show me how I can look now, I get compliments on how well I look and I just see haggard in the mirror, a different face to what I knew for all my life. I can send you before and after pics if you wish. I’m getting tears in my eyes here as it’s not something I say to everyone (hubbie only, and he’s so supportive but when you don’t feel it yourself it’s all just words). I just don’t see any beauty in my face anymore. I am embarking on a Beauty Specialist career and have to put to the back of my mind how I feel and help others feel beautiful and I’m loving it, I’d just love someone to be able to give me that feeling back.
Thanks for listening, joanne
Thanks Joanne, wow that is so amazing, Thank you xoxo
Thank you, as for the era/how you would dress me up I wouldn’t mind as I’d be happy with anything that would make me see what others see or what I have to believe they see as I don’t.
I would love to be transformed either in the 18c period eera with long gowns ,corsets and big hats (massive jane austen fan) or 1950s with deep red lips and 50 style dresses. Audrey Hepburn being my idol / grace kelly.Would be kinda cool to experience something id never expect to do
But im happy for you to experiment any style to be honest.
Thanks for entering Sharon xoxo
Wow this sounds like a fantastic prize!! I would love the chance to spend the day living out my alter ego. I always wondered what it would be like living in worlds like those in Gossip girl and Sex and the city and running around the city looking fabulous in my designer couture!
As a model I have a keen interest in the fashion industry from high street to couture. For my own personal style I love mixing classic glamour with the latest trends, and incorporating vintage pieces when I can… My fashion icons are people like Blake Lively, Victoria Beckham and Sarah Jessica Parker. I wish I could raid their wardrobes! I would love experimenting with styles like these on a shoot and seeing how big and bold we could make them! I also love classic fashion icons like Coco Chanel and Jackie Kennedy and their refined glamour. I watch the TV series Mad Men just to see the clothes and imagine myself in that 60’s glamour.
I would love the chance to experiment with lots of these styles on the shoot and see what vibrant looks we could create!
K xx
Thank you so much Katriona xoxo
Hi Nessa,
I have been following your blog for the last few months and really admire your personal style, shoots you have styled and of course your vintage finds you like to share with us on your blog. So I feel drawn to enter your comp.
I have worked in retail for years and find myself always dressing and giving styling tips to other ladies but rarely receiving it myself. For my wedding last year we were on a budget so we had my brother take our photograph’s. A decision I have come to regret not because the pictures turned out bad but because I have never had a professional photographer take pictures of me. To win a professional shoot would be my ultimate Life lust have! even the thought of it sends my heart beating. I would love the opportunity to be your “blank canvas” for a day and for you to style me up whatever way you feel works for you. If I had to choose an alter ego is would be anything fashion forward with big hair and I’m also a huge fan of black and white photography.
So there you have it thanks for reading Nessa, may the best entry win. Xx
