A few of you lovely ladies have asked me for advice for dressing for a Summer wedding.
I am attending a black tie Summer wedding myself in a few weeks so I have been trying to find a lovely dress myself.
In Summer, you can go for many different options for a wedding: Short, full length or midi dresses.
I personally think a beautifully tailored and sharp trouser suit or tuxedo looks unbelievable on a woman at a fancy event. You really stand out from the crowd but must people use a wedding as an excuse to finally get into a beautiful dress so here are a few that I think would work:
A little red and nude… Two simple dresses from Zara, both red, both perfect with these nude sandals also from Zara
I adore backless dress and so I love these two dresses from Zara & Asos
Wear a maxi like these from Asos or Oasis with flats or heels
Some pastel mint loveliness from Asos and Virgos Lounge
I have come across so many more lovely pieces so if you need a hand finding a dress for an event, make sure to send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org,
The first StealMyStyle event took place last night in Cork. It was such a great night and all I wanted to do was shop, shop, shop! When I did get a minute to shop, I bought one of Erika’s fab studded phone covers and a cross necklace and fur collar from Maria O’Sullivan Designs.
The night really went quite well considering it was our first attempt! I have to say a huge thank you to my amazing co-host Erika Fox and of course thank you to everyone involved in this fun event! We will let you know next week where we are bringing the next StealMyStyle event to! Exciting times ahead…..
It was so hard to find the time to take pictures whilst also running the event but photographer, Emmet Curtin was there taking pictures so I should have lots of pics really soon to show you!
I wore a vintage-inspired Virgos Lounge dress,

It’s been a while since I have had the chance to write something. I had a super busy weekend starting off with my Oasis Fashion Party last Thursday night! I want to thank everyone that came along and I hope you enjoyed spending your Thursday night drinking Corona, eating Cupcakes and Shopping! It was lovely to meet some new people too so thank you for your support! Thanks to Emmet Curtin Photography for taking some pictures on the night which I have posted and to the Hair Bar for coming along to style some of the guest’s hair! More pics can be seen on my Facebook Page- Life’s Lust Haves!
I attended a wedding at the weekend also and got to wear my Virgos Lounge Aqua Wrap Dress which I am just in love with!
I spent lots of time with family and friends over the weekend and I just really enjoyed the simple things in life- Love and Laughter….
