Le Chat Noir xoxo

01.04.13

I have been a huge fan of the Le Chat Noir Vintage Fairs for the past few years and this time round, I was delighted to have been asked to style the fashion parades for the event which took place today in Cork. It was fantastic to work with some of the models from Lockdown and to use pieces from some of my favourite vintage stores.

I also got to taste the most amazing cupcakes from Swell Bakeshop. I have never seen such an assortment of flavors and designs and I will be sure to get in touch with them for my next event as they really are such a treat for the taste buds and look SO pretty and unique.

I also bought some really gorgeous jewellery from Peacock & Ruby and a beautiful summer coloured clutch from Elsa and Gogo Boutique. I was delighted to get my hands on this white statement necklace. I plan on wearing a lot of white this summer.

What do you think?

I spent the weekend in Kenmare in Kerry with my boyfriend. Such a nice escape away from our everyday routines and the mayhem that is St. Patrick’s Weekend in Cork. Yes, I am getting old! It was great to just take time out and of course drink and eat to our hearts content.

Dinner? In Runners?

16.07.12

I would be considered quite the dressy dresser so when at the weekend I realised I would be not just going out for dinner but also to the pub in runners/trainers/sneaker/high-tops I nearly collapsed with a weakness. Even if they are Ted Baker, leather and Pink! I then remembered I was on Cape Clear Island where high heels/wedges/sandals just do not work on the hilly terrains and rainy down-pours so….I embraced it and literally skipped all the way to the pub and home again…. Don’t know who was more shocked, my boyfriend or me!? I got to wear my fave multi-coloured Zara Blazer at least!
