I have been a huge fan of the Le Chat Noir Vintage Fairs for the past few years and this time round, I was delighted to have been asked to style the fashion parades for the event which took place today in Cork. It was fantastic to work with some of the models from Lockdown and to use pieces from some of my favourite vintage stores.
I also got to taste the most amazing cupcakes from Swell Bakeshop. I have never seen such an assortment of flavors and designs and I will be sure to get in touch with them for my next event as they really are such a treat for the taste buds and look SO pretty and unique.
I also bought some really gorgeous jewellery from Peacock & Ruby and a beautiful summer coloured clutch from Elsa and Gogo Boutique. I was delighted to get my hands on this white statement necklace. I plan on wearing a lot of white this summer.
What do you think?

I adore the Le Chat Noir Vintage Fair run by a fantastic vintage events company, Le Chat Noir Vintage Events, here in Cork which took place yesterday. It is so nice to just browse through the stalls and rails filled with pretty Lust Haves. I met some fab people like Designers Julie O’Connell who had some of her Mayo range for sale, Alice Halliday & Samantha Kennedy, Vintage Stylist & Blogger Irene O’ Brien, Olivia Murphy from Elsa & Gogo and the gorgeous Lockdown Model, Kate Slattery wearing such a laid back but effortlessly stylish outfit of tartan, denim cut offs and studded ankle boots.
I am heading to London this weekend so I was fighting the urges to buy much at the event… I did come away with some beautiful crochet Christmas decorations that are just so sweet and I cannot wait to get my decorating hat on!
I had a rather delightful night at the Le Chat Noir Vintage Vixens Event last night…The closing event of Cork Fashion Week. Le Chat Noir is a super Cork Based Vintage Events Company and I discovered them at a Vintage Fair last year where I also met Olivia from my favourite online vintage boutique Elsa & Gogo.
We were treated to a multitude of gorgeous outfits from Cork vintage stores. We were taken right back to the glamour and sophistication of eras gone by…Miss Daisy Blue recreated the glamour of Marylin Monroe, Mercury Goes Retrograde did Farrah Fawcett, Bella Bleu brought us Audrey Hepburn, Elsa & Gogo did Grace Kelly and Turquoise Flamingo showed us Brigitte Bardot and we also saw fantastic head pieces by Aoife Potty but Posh.
I fell in love with some particular items in the fashion show… I now know what I want to wear for my wedding and the day after and the day after that again!!! I crave prettiness and glamour in my life and the Vintage Vixens event brought me this and so much more. I loved seeing all the outfits put together as I drank cosmos from china tea-cups. How fancy!
I also got to meet some really great bloggers such as Blau Von T who writes a super quirky blog and vintage blogger Irene O’Brien from Irene.ie… It’s such a great experience meeting other bloggers and sharing your passion!
I am off to Dublin for a little shopping trip tomorrow… It’s not all work and no play for me!
